UJ has an undergraduate student population of approximately 43478, distributed across the four campuses of
UJ.

A market survey was contracted out to an external company who sampled 604 students proportionally across
the different campuses, i.e. Kingsway (n=248; 41%), Bunting Road (n=103; 17%), Doornfontein (n=151; 25%)
and Soweto (n=103; 17%).
