Aim
To identify initiatives or lack thereof undertaken by NWU (Mafikeng
Campus) to accommodate international students
Objectives
The objectives of the study were to:
•
Appraise the feelings of students about the connection between first-
year international students and the institution
•
Ascertain if the current teaching and learning practices accommodate
international students
•
Establish if the institution lives up to its mission statement promise of
nurturing and promoting diversity
