Introduction
• Extended curriculum provisioning (ECP) comes in
in a number of models in South Africa
• It came into effect to address issues of equitable
access, Low throughput rate, better the gap between
high school and higher education practices
• This paper focuses on ECP in the Science and
Agriculture faculty at university of For Hare, Alice
campus.
• This is an analysis based on semi-structured
interviews with both students and university staff
