World Cafe Method Outline
We draw on the principles:

of collaborative dialogue around 4 particular questions
relating to tutoring and mentoring

make a difference
in our lives of our students and our own practice

Method
:
●
4 tables -1 host at each table - have a conversation/discussion(8 minutes)
●
Capture the information, scribble, draw, connect, share diverse perspectives, listen for
patterns and insights, share collective discoveries
●
After 8 minutes move to next question – YOU CANNOT MOVE WITH THE SAME
PARTICIPANTS FROM YOUR FIRST TABLE – you need to split up for each table discussion
there should be different participants
●
Next session 6 minutes x 3 rounds
●
The Host who remains at the table will share the summary of previous conversation
●
Harvest - whole group discussion with participants - conclusion
