Challenges

Solutions

1. Few students who did not like the

programme at first, they disturbed

students who were engaging.

I spoke to them individually, outside the class and asked they

to behave themselves

2. Clarity on attending time slots

Raised the issue to the level coordinator

3. Some students did not attend

I mentioned topics and examples that are relevant to them,

eg financial issues, remission of fees for students with good

marks, possibility of attaining distinctions

4. Poor attendance

I motivate them to attend the seminars to help them cope

and relief stress

5. The attention span of the student

is short

I make the seminars fun and encourage 2 way

communication, I use informative videos

6. Students needed a tutor in one of

their main stream modules

I took the problem to the programme coordinator and a

tutorial session was organised
